A Gather & Grow Offering through Still Waters

There are seasons when the Lord places a calling on our hearts that feels unmistakably clear. Biblical Mentorship & Homemaking Foundations has grown out of one of those seasons - a desire to create a Christ-centered mentorship program for teen girls, unique in Michigan, where young women can grow in faith, wisdom, and practical living through intentional relationships and community.

At its core, this mentorship experience is designed to help young women live every area of life according to God’s Word. Faith is not meant to be compartmentalized; it shapes relationships, decisions, habits, and daily responsibilities. This program reflects that integrated approach to Christian life.

Biblical Mentorship & Homemaking Foundations will meet on Mondays beginning in September, hosted in my home. I will be the mentor, walking consistently with the young women throughout the year.

A Formation-Oriented Approach

This mentorship is not a traditional class or curriculum, but a formation-centered experience shaped around three complementary areas:

Biblical Mentorship

At the foundation is Scripture-rooted mentorship. Young women engage in guided conversation and relational investment, growing in discernment, spiritual maturity, and biblical understanding. The program allows space for both prepared guidance and responsive support, addressing questions and challenges as they arise.

Homemaking Foundations

Alongside spiritual formation, participants are invited into hands-on experiences that cultivate stewardship, creativity, and confidence in daily life. These foundations focus on faithful care for home and family, encouraging practical skills approached with purpose and intention rather than perfection.

Community Engagement

Faith is meant to be lived and practiced. Participants engage in guided experiences that allow them to step into service, hospitality, and relational interactions within the broader community. These experiences help young women practice grace, confidence, and biblical understanding in real-world settings.

Rooted in Charlotte Mason Philosophy

The program draws from Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of formation through atmosphere, discipline, and life. The emphasis is on cultivating habits, virtues, and relational maturity rather than simply transferring information. Young women engage with meaningful experiences, shared work, and relational practice, allowing growth to unfold naturally over time.

A Gentle Invitation

For parents and young women prayerfully considering this opportunity, a visual overview of the program’s vision and participant experience is included below. This image provides a fuller picture of Biblical Mentorship & Homemaking Foundations. This is currently the only program of its kind in Michigan.

Further details - including structure, expectations, and next steps - are shared upon request. Families are invited to reach out directly to continue the conversation and discern whether this mentorship experience would be a good fit.

With joy in Christ,

Crystal
